The shape of container derived from the traditional Chinese container - the cuán pán (assembled plate), which refers to the combination of several plates. The shape of the utensil is usually round or flower shaped, symbolizing auspiciousness and completeness. The body of the box is made through traditional Chinese lacquer techniques. With black and gold Xipi Lacquer on the outside and fine black polished lacquer on the inside, it is presented only after 18 months of complex processes, grinding, and polishing.
