SHANG XIA's Xipi Lacquer and Carbon Fiber Round-Backed Large Armchair is crafted with the Xipi lacquer technique, which is inherited and innovated by Gan Erke, a master of lacquer finishing technique. The table body is made of modern technological carbon fiber, achieving a diverse balance between classic and innovation. The application of carbon fiber material shows contemporary inspiration and amplifies the lightweight and stable characteristics. In the design, the mortise and tenon structure is continued to be used, the lines are simple and the style is fully displayed. The Xipi lacquer decoration technique adorns the chair body with red and gold patches, bright and vivid, making the classic carbon fiber works show a lustrous sheen.

SHANG XIA's Xipi lacquer works involve multiple processes and are completed on average in 12 months. Select lacquer materials of different colors. After each layer is completely dry, apply another layer. Repeatedly polish and manually polish to finally present beautiful textures that are layered one after another, as natural and vivid as ripples on the water surface. The surface is smooth and flat, with flowing gold patterns faintly visible in between.
